Beauty lies in the eye of the beholder........it's not ingrained in the thing.
This actually is a story from Swamini Vimalananda from one of her talks. The story goes like this......
One day on a busy subway, two men happen to run into each other. Both of them looked as if they were in a rush. A spark of happiness could be seen lightling on the face of both - they looked very excited probably because of the feeling they got from what they were thinking as they were rushing towards their destination.
After colliding, one of the men said to the other, "Hey, Why didn't you look? You should have seen me coming! I am very busy and I need to be at the court on time. I am going to get married and I am registering my marriage today."
Then immediately the next man also said, "Hey, you should have seen insetad, I am also in a rush. I am going to the court too. I am going to sign a divorce paper."
Later, they found out that the women the first man was getting married to and the second man was getting divorced from was the same person.
So, here is one man who is getting married to the woman and is thinking that she's my everything and is happy to have her.
At the same time, there is another person happily signing the divorce paper with the same woman.
So, where do you think does beauty lie?
