accounts - pattern sign-in - guide

Saacho ID

Your pattern is your key. Create an account or sign in using a signature, symbol, or simple drawing that only you can reproduce - no password to remember, nothing to install.

what it is

Authentication you draw, not type

Instead of typing a password, you draw a pattern. Yours can be anything you can reproduce reliably - your signature, a simple symbol, a small doodle, or even a short word written in your own hand. Your pattern, combined with your real name and date of birth, is what lets you back into your account.

why a pattern

Always with you, never needs remembering

Passwords get forgotten or stolen. A pattern you can draw lives in your muscle memory - you carry it everywhere and it can't be phished or typed in by someone else watching. It's simple, private, and secure.

How sign-in works: your details and pattern unlock only your own Saacho account. Your pattern is drawn on your device and sent securely only when you confirm it.

New here? Three simple steps

1
Your detailsEnter your real full name and date of birth. This links your identity to your pattern. You must be at least 12 and not older than 100.
2
Draw your patternTap the drawing box to open the full-screen pad, then draw once, naturally. A quality meter shows how strong your effort is - aim for a clean 100%.
3
Confirm and submitEach capture is confirmed, then your account is created. That's it - sign in next time by drawing the same pattern.

Back again? Draw, done

1
Identify yourselfEnter the same real full name and date of birth you used when you created the account.
2
Draw your patternTap the box the same way you did before. Try to match the size, shape, and general feel of your original pattern.
3
You're inIf the pattern matches, you're signed in and taken to where you were headed. If it doesn't quite match, you'll get a chance to try again.

how and where to draw

Drawing your pattern, done right

1
Tap to open the padTap the drawing box on screen. It opens a full-screen drawing area on your device - you always draw on a large, comfortable surface.
2
Draw naturally in the centerUse the open space in the middle of the pad. A steady, comfortable stroke works best - not a tiny flick and not a rushed scribble.
3
Watch the quality meterThe small percentage in the corner tells you how strong the capture is. If it's low, draw bigger and slower - the app will tell you if it was too small or rushed.
4
Confirm when you're happyUse the Undo ⌫ and Clear buttons to fix mistakes, then confirm. Your pattern leaves your device only when you press Confirm.

device by device

Drawing on your device

📱 Mobile (phone)

Draw with your fingertip in the full-screen pad.

  • Tap the box, then draw with your finger
  • Need more room for a long pattern? Rotate your phone to landscape
  • Keep strokes steady - your fingertip pads the line slightly

💻 Laptop or Desktop

Draw with your mouse, trackpad, or pen.

  • Click and drag with the mouse or draw with the trackpad
  • Touchscreen laptops: finger or stylus works great
  • Don't be afraid to draw a generous-size pattern

📟 Tablet

The most comfortable device for pattern drawing.

  • Use a stylus for the most natural feel, or your finger
  • The full-screen pad gives you plenty of room

🎯 On any device

  • Draw the same pattern on any device - size and shape matter most
  • Draw at a natural, comfortable speed; slower matches better
  • Your pattern is drawn on your device and never stored as a raw image

getting it right

Matches, mismatches, and recovery

Match is about consistency, not perfection. Try to reproduce the same general shape and size each time. If it doesn't match on the first try, you'll be offered a chance to draw again - often a steadier, more deliberate attempt is enough.

Your pattern is the only key. For security, there is no password reset or recovery code - your pattern plus your details is the only way in. If you genuinely can't reproduce it, you can create a new account with the same name.
