The Nepal Nursing Council (NNC) conducts the Nursing Licensing Examination (NLEN) for PCL Nursing graduates. Passing this exam is mandatory before graduates can register with the NNC and practise as staff nurses in Nepal. Per the official NNC test guideline, the exam consists of 150 multiple-choice questions (150 marks) with a pass mark of 50%, completed in two and a half hours. The NNC oversees the registration and licensing of all categories of nursing professionals in the country.
