The Nepal Nursing Council (NNC) conducts the licensing examination for Auxiliary Nurse Midwives (ANMs). Per the official NNC test guideline, the exam comprises 150 multiple-choice questions (150 marks) with a 50% pass mark, completed in two and a half hours. Note that CTEVT discontinued new ANM admissions from 2020, so the current intake pathway is limited; ANM graduates already in the system must pass this examination and register with the NNC to practise as auxiliary nurse midwives in Nepal.
